The story begins in 2001 when Paul Ostyn and Greet Viaene, managers of sister company Transport Veys, are asked to help import natural stone from Vietnam. Due to interest in stones, coming from the roots of Steenbakkerij Ostyn, the idea came to think about importing natural stone.

A B2B approach is chosen in which the products are distributed to construction dealers, tile houses and natural stone sawmills. For project work, partners with the right knowledge are chosen. The logistics component is strengthened by the knowledge and connections in the transport world. During the purchasing process, we look for correct suppliers who share our values.

Over the years, branches were opened at various locations in Belgium and France, with the product range and stock adapted to local demand. Since a few years, son Michiel also joins the company so that the succession is assured. With a view to the future of the company, sustainable investments are being made.
